Very easy to use despite sometime ambiguous instruction book. Clean cuts and tight joints.
Maurice O'Brien, 09/08/2023Produces excellent results if you take it slow and are careful. The manual that comes with it is bordering on useless. There are videos out there that give excellent advice. I found the one by Adrian Fielder the best.
Ian D, 11/07/2022Seems like a very sturdy, well-built jig; still getting to grips with it; was a bit disappointed when it arrived, because I felt that it had been advertised to include the capacity for box joints and through dovetail joints. I did not realize that I had to buy more attachments.

It takes some time to set up correctly and although it is easy to set the router to the correct depth for a good joint I needed to adjust the distance in/out for the template when the timber is thicker/thinner to make sure the pins were balanced. It would be good if they included a comb joint template.

James Mason, 13/10/2018I found this produces reliable dovetail joints. One of Trend's better jigs - and there are some poor ones. But it does need some fine tuning in both the jig and the router depth, and the instructions aren't helpful. The advice on BrainFizz (YouTube) was very valuable in getting good results. As with Trend's mortise and tenon jig, there is a limit to the length of one piece in the joint - that is, the vertical piece can only be as long as the distance from the jig to the floor.
