Had 13 doors to fit for a customer always used a self made stand upgraded to the ox door clamp should have done this a long time ago very happy with the purchase don't think about owning one just do it.

As a 60 year old carpenter I've tried all manner of ways to hold a door while adjusting it to fit a frame and cut the hinges in. This clamp is by far the best I've used to do the job. Just hung 9 prefinished oak doors. The soft cover on the clamp left no marks on the doors and the foot release left my hands free to move the heavy doors. Only had this clamp 2 weeks so don't know how long it will last but it is very robust so have high hopes. I recommend this product.

Great product that can hold doors on their edge on the floor whilst making cutouts for locks and hinges. I have found it can also be used to hold doors mounted on their hinges steady while undertaking lock fitting or making cutouts for locks and catches whilst the door is in situe.

For 37yrs+ I've used a piece of 3x2 & a wedge to hold up doors whilst i cut the hinges, I borrowed one of these OX clamps, quite like it so thought it was time to treat myself, this device seems fairly well made and rugged, I like that you can put your foot on the lever to release & hold the door, saves me bending over hammering the wedge & saves the door from poss damage, & is quicker than a 3x2 + wedge, At the moment i've no regrets buying it, it works as i'd expected & think it will last quite a while but it is heavy,
