Really good pump, especially if you own Makita battery tools.

I bought this after a friend recommended it. I am very pleased with product and have used it on a pneumatic car jack to assist with aligning the security locks on my caravan. It lifts it effortlessly and quickly. Very impressed.

Gets up to 40psi quite happily, anything more you will have to wait a while. Great for a car

Does exactly what it's meant to do. Think I paid £47 for it, for that money and to always have Makita batteries on the van it's a no brainer to buy one. Just incase of emergency as well as maintenance. I'm fussy about long journeys carrying materials and needing to check tyre pressure before we go. This again makes it that little bit easier instead of looking for a petrol station with a working air machine.

I bought this because it was cordless and easier to use and because I had a Makita Drill with the same batteries so I wouldnt need to buy a battery. I found it easy to use, it pumps up so much quicker & easier than the 12v plug in type which you have to be passed through the inside of the car to do both sides. I'm very pleased with it, not cheap but you get what you pay for and at the time of purchase FFX had the best price and it arrived the next day. Fantastic service.

GREAT ITEM VERY PORTABLE AND EASY TO USE

Very handy air compressor, ideal if you already have makita lxt tools with batteries, Only negative point is that you have to keep the trigger pulled all the time to keep inflating, if you are pumping a car tyre up from flat you have an aching back and hand, would have been better if you could lock the trigger and it automatically stopped at the pressure you’ve set on the display

if you already have the batteries and chargers it's a good addition to your kit,bare units cheap enough,would work out expensive buying as a kit with batteries and charger though,u can set the pressure u want,topped up 4 tyres on my car(not from flat) with no loss of battery life

The product is still new and little used. On the basis of this short experience, the Makita DMP180Z performs well and fully meets my hoped for expectations.

Used several similar units over the years this is ideal for my purposes as several cars in the household. Couldn’t justify the price when they first came on the market at over £70 now at at just over £40 ideal. Chose Makita as I have several cordless tools of that brand seem well made and good quality backed up with a 3 year warranty.

As with all Makita products the quality is first class, This inflator is powerful, fast and not too noisy.

Great product

This is a fantastic tyre inflator, especialy if you have access to the 18v LXT Makita batterys as I do. With the provided adaptors I can inflate everything from car, motorcycle, push bike, even the wheel barrow. and with the pre set pressure its easy to operate, there was a comment about the fact the trigger does not stay up, but I just wedge it with a screw driver handle if you have to inflate a nearly flat tyre. I even bought a second one for my son for his birthday.

As I have the batteries it is good value for money. Portable, easy to use and has all the adaptors available.

Really convenient as it is self contained. Works well if a little slow on bigger tyres. Doesn't take much out of the battery. A bit noisy. Though you can set the required pressure and it cuts out when that is reached there is no way to lock the trigger and let it run unattended. I have remedied that with a small Velcro strap.

As with all my Marita tools, does what it does with ease and without fuss. A storage box would be a welcome addition as it won’t get used every day……just have to keep the cardboard box it came in👍👍👍

I wanted a portable tyre pump that was easy to use and reliable; I also wanted an 18 volt battery unit not 12 volt to make sure that it was man enough for the job. I have now used this a few times and it is excellent in what it does. I bought the 5AH battery pack and am impressed with its performance. It's expensive but it was worth it for me. Only time will tell if it is reliable over time, but it certainly gives the impression that it will.

With the old types tyre inflator you have to . open you car doors to plug it in cigerate lighter. With the Makita you don't need to .as the Makita has its own power source.saves you a lot of time and makes life a lot easier
