JOHN FRANCIS FINNEGAN, 10/07/2021Personally I didn’t like the little plastic foot at the back of the planer, it’s designed to stop you placing the planer on the floor and accidentally damaging the blades, it works for this and is great however when you try and ‘drop in’ halfway down a workpiece it doesn’t retract easily. I removed the foot and all is good now.
