Does its job very efficiently and may add further batteries in the future. As with all Lithium batteries the cost is high.

Very good deal for original Makita charger and two 5ah 18v batteries. I use clone batteries but the Makita batteries last longer before a charge so my batteries are majority original Makita brand.

I recently purchased a new makita drill from FFX and needed a charger+ batteries. I spoke to a staff member at FFX! And we talked about what batteries would be best for me, as I use my drill most of the day, on a daily basis. I needed a battery with good power and long life! at a good price. I chose two 18v lithium ion 5.0Ah batteries with fast charge, charger. The batteries are great! and last a long time between charges. The charger is quite and the built in fan keeps the unit from overheating, which is a must! If you use the charger all day. FFX gave me an awesome deal on the price! With next day delivery. If you are a tradesman! I strongly recommend. 10/10

The batteries seem to get better after a couple of chargers. Really happy with the runtime especially when used with the jigsaw.

Needed a couple of extra Makita 5A batteries and the best price found was from FFX, including the charger, still cheaper than others would charge for just 2 batteries. Yes good value and high performance.

I had several 3.0Ah batteries for years and decided to upgrade to a couple of 5Ah batteries, these really do make a massive difference and last a lot longer. Want to add some more to my kit before the end of the year. It’s 10/10 from me

Quality batteries & charger from Makita. Charger has cooling fan inside which is great to stop overheating batteries. The 5ah batteries are the longest lasting whilst using my different Makita cordless tools.They go on for ages with one charge. Would highly recommend both batteries and charger. FFX is a fantastic company to deal with. Very good prices and excellent selection. Quick delivery and your purchase always arrives in pristine condition. The best price I could find from a certified Makita Dealer. Good service too. Glad I bought them as the new blower only lasts 11 mins! At full power. OK for me as used to dry the car. But definitely needs 5.0 AHs

The 5Ah batteries just don’t want to die!

There is a lot of poke in these batteries, I managed to remove 4 large limbd from a walnut tree, and cut the branches into firewood lengths all with one battery. The battery fill indicator on the batteries themselves is a good feature, and the charger nice and quick.

I think these are great batteries with lots of lasting power and a quick recharge time - what more can you ask for? I like that they now come with an inbuilt power meter too.
