sean sullivan, 21/06/2021I got the Makita 196953-0 Guide Rail Adaptor for DHS680 cordless circular saw. It’s a bit plasticky considering the price and a little play when used with SP6000 rail guide! However, with a little tune up and after the first cut it has been superb. I measured some small cuts using a Vernier Calliper for accuracy and it was less then 0.33mm out which is good enough for my DIY uses. I used it to cut right to left using the Makita track as there is not enough purchase on the left side of the DHS680 cordless circular saw plate to support it properly for an accurate cut. (Insert guide from the motor side and it cuts accurately).
