Great accurate machine.
Mr Oompalumpa, 30/09/2023Only had the saw for a few days so have only used it a couple of times. I am really impressed with the power and quality of cut that it can produce. I did a trial with some off cuts of 40mm oak worktop. I have a large Bosch table saw that can struggle with this stuff but the festool saw easily went through it with no slowing of the blade. The cut edges very smooth and clean. I even managed to cut slices of the oak that were less than 1mm thick something that my Bosch could never do. I do find the user interface for the settings a bit fiddly but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of in. So initial impressions are that it is a very capable machine with a lot of innovative features that will take my woodworking to the next level.
