Before ffx complain about me reviewing this again you sent me a request to do so . Can't review the machine as I never accepted delivery as it was 4 days late a.nd the packaging was damaged not acceptable for anything much less a product costing over £1200

It is a very expensive machine but overall I do appreciate the quality. reduced by one star because the guard movement broke after a few cuts but being collected for repair so apart from a delay there should be no other issues.

There's quite a waiting list for these saws ... was worth the wait ;)

After watching lots of reviews about this mitre saw, I was very reluctant to pay all this money for a mitre saw but now that I have it and used it I can say I do not regret at all. It's the best kit you can buy and it goes perfectly on my evolution stand with no adjustments required as if it was the dewalt stand it doesn't fit.

Very fast delivery from FFX of my Festool Kapex120 which just superb and a real joy to use.

Product purchased to replace previously owned item (different make). Wanted to an accurate machine with good functionality - which product reviews seemed to indicate would give me what I wanted. Having already owned other FESTOOL products - was happy to trust the brand again. So far, only used briefly, but very impressed with results so far. Set-up mechanism seem easy to use as easy to read indications. Dust extraction proving to be very good indeed.

Excellent product but if priced more competitively then surely Festool would sell more and still maintain their margins

I read many many reviews regarding this versus others on the market. My main criteria was that I needed a replacement saw that didn't need space at the back which seemed to narrow it down to this and the Bosch equivalent which is much cheaper. The Bosch seemed to get mixed reviews and the only downside generally on the Festool was the cost! I have the Festool plunge saw which is excellent in all respects and if you look at U tube videos thesaw that most of the professionals seem to use is this - so I bought it. As expected excellent piece of kit and no regrets!!

This mitre saw is fantastic, after a few very minor adjustments it is set up perfectly and brilliant for what I install, I am a fan of festool and also of the blade quality and wear. I would recommend it if you have precision work to do on a regular basis. The bonus is you get the internal/ external mitre guide with it. I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to recommend FFX and Festool.
