The build quality is to the same high standard as the rest of the Dewalt range. Customer, 08/09/2018Bought this radio at FFX as it was much cheaper than Screwfix. My old radio had died when it fell off a scaffold tower so I needed a new one for site. I like the sturdiness of the radio and that it's DAB. I've not investigated all of the radio's features yet, I've just unboxed it, plugged it in and turned it on. To my ears the sound is slighty flatter than my old radio, it may be you can adjust the tone but I've not looked into it yet. The lead is a decent length and is permanently attached to the radio, this can be wound up when either not in use or the radio is being powered by a battery. I put a 4 amp battery on it and it lasted all day no bother (batteries not supplied with the radio). So far I'm happy with my purchase and perhaps one day I'll investigate some if its other features.
