MarkMallen, 11/11/2022Not Dewalt’s finest tool. It struggles to drive screws in unless you can get two hands on it and push really hard and straight. Then it does what it should. It’s light and the auto-feed works well but I was hoping it would help when boarding a ceiling on my own. It doesn’t ! FFX also sell 75mm screws which I hoped this would drive. It doesn’t. I can’t see any collated driver that will, mind you. When you’ve got two people boarding out a room, it is a timesaver. Otherwise, I wouldn’t bother. Screwdriver without the auto feed module works quite well for the longer screws after you’ve pulled them out of the collation strips.

However the one I purchased has developed an annoying tendency to jam and needs assistance to reload next screw. All my other tools are dewalt so that’s why I bought this for battery compatibility. Festool and hilti are better made and operate smother.
